Will now operate as line 45 to Werdhölzli
Line 35 is being extended and is now operating as Line 45. The line will continue as before from Friedhof Eichbühl to Altstetten station. From there, the bus will take the following route:
Grünaustrasse – Grünauring (new stop in the direction of Werdhölzli) – Bändliweg – Werdhölzli.
In the opposite direction from Werdhölzli, the line will run from Altstetten station to the Solidapark stop via Bristenstrasse, then continue as before to Dunkelhölzli. Every second service will continue to Friedhof Eichbühl.
The benefits of this change are as follows:
• Good connections to Altstetten station from Dunkelhölzli and Werdhölzli.
• More frequent service on the Dunkelhölzli – Friedhof Eichbühl section (every 30 minutes instead of every 45).
• The Werdhölzli stop will be linked directly to Lindenplatz in Altstetten, with its shopping facilities and role as a neighbourhood hub.
In the early morning and late evening, line 45 will only run between Altstetten station and Werdhölzli. The operating times on the existing line section will remain unchanged.
